Ever since I suggested the Vampire Week, and someone posted a picture of an image of a woman from a Game. I've wanted to do a Game Week.

It might have been Faltering Hues, but the image has been removed.

Choose an image from a game; choose something colorful and/or edgy, something modern; something you might not have thought of before.

I forgot about this challenge and I had a good idea in mind. Not feeling so hot today (chills are gone but tummy - ugh!) but hopefully I can get it done.

this one's been tough for me b/c I'm running around looking at houses right now so I have to look somewhat normal LOL but Miss Cin got me hooked on Vampire Wars on FB (I cannot BELIEVE I got sucked into an MMORPG!! how old am I?? LOL), so if I can get to it tomorrow, I'll try to copy my avatar's smoky vamp look...

Anja looks normal to me, just exquisitely beautiful.

I was going for the look of the new Shiseido ad or the cover of Allure with Taylor Swift on it.

Both feature bright red lips.

For the sense of vibrancy, it reminded me of Anja's look.

Shiseido's ad is likely photo shopped to get such white skin. What a gorgeous picture!

I used the lightest shade of makeup I have, which is too light for me, then used white liquid highlighter over much of it to get it even lighter.

Eyes: Balsam in crease
Pencil lined: navy on top; bright blue on lower with white in the waterline;
Dry Lined: with Swank top and lower
Then Spaceoddity, then disintegration to bring it more turquoise like the Shiseido ad

a bit of background first: I got sucked into an MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game; thx Cin! LOL) this week; up to now, the only computer games I've played are things like mahjong or match-3, etc. so for this week's challenge I was actually able to refer to my own avatar in the game (Vampire Wars) for inspiration - her name is Genevieve Choiseul:

AL lash primer
2 coats mascara, upper and lower lashes

FACE/LIPS
coquille vert on chin, around nose, and across forehead
glissade 1YL foundation
kinetic EL Cheek Glisten under cheek bones
50/50 blend of Pure Bronze-medium and quintessential PR on apples
lustre twilight powder as FP
ultra res FP in clear
twilight sparkle over cheek bones
smitten Elemental NCC on lips

I really liked how this smoky eye turned out today how close do y'all think I got to mimicking my game av?

Pretty darn close! Except for not having a dark red vampy lip, but that wouldn't work very well for looking at houses I love smitten on you, looks so different than it does on me. Great smokey eye and dark to light gradient. I especially like that rockbottom color! That avatar looks like you!
