Have you tried large calf boots? I've seen them advertised but have never tried a pair

You can also get boot "stretchers" although not many places carry them anymore. A good shoe store should have them, especially a store that specializes in cowboy boots. "Shapers" will keep the shape of the boot but won't stretch them.

I usually end up buying boots a size bigger to accomodate my wide feet, and the boots scrunch up around my ankles.

OK, I know I'm late to the party, but Nadja, you look SO PRETTY in that picture. Also you're wearing the gorgeous necklace Jen gave you!!! It really goes with the red vinyl look. Your makeup picks up the red in the necklace.

Coloring: 1.5 level skin with yellow undertones, hazel eyes, medium golden/reddish brown hair color. Surprisingly, I look best in neutral and cool-toned makeup. Love greys and pinks. Current Favorites: Magnetism gel liner, Rocks! Rouge in Breathless, Pinafore Color Cream, Adelaide EDT, Delicate Vanilla Bean Lipbalm, Ondberry and Maylily Spring Solstice!

My look in the Rocks gallery with reds is iseered and helterskelter - both are very cool, blue based, pinked reds on me. Harder to wear for this warm girl than taintedlove and ringoffire (which i ADORE!!).

I suspect that either of those would be amazing on you, as will slowburn and nightshift. Tempted would also make a very interesting red look for you - it's a bit more "true" or clear red than iseered and helterskelter are, at least to my eyes and on my skin. Try using tempted with one or more of the other reds, in a sculpted application - tempted as your all over color, one of the darker, blacker or browner reds in the inner corner and outer wedge (v), then use Umber or Ebony or another black to "outline" the outer wedge and the socket line (above the natural crease) so that you get this awesome smokey effect when the eye is open, and when you look down or blink, SHAZAM! RED!!. Line with chocolate mousse gel liner or blackout on upper lid, use your smokey black or black-brown dusted and smudged under lower lashes, then vamp your pout in a beiged nude OR a chocolaty color (a bit Biba and 1920s girl, that dark lip) and whoa nellie! A hot, sinister, dangerous dark angel.

-b.

I tried out Bridget's suggestion from page 2 of this theme. Not sure if it turned out exactly as she imagined it, but here goes.

I used ring of fire wet from crease to lashes, slow burn dry on inner and outer corners and under lower lashes and ebony wet in crease, vee and under lower lashes then smudged. I then went over ebony with slow burn again to blend. One coat mascara.

On my cheeks is wild flower rouge and on my lips is clear gloss with slow burn and night shift mixed. I didn't see anything about not putting those colors on the lips, so I went ahead and tried it.

Bridget - you're right about ring of fire. I love it!

I'm not sure if this look is classified as 'red vinyl', but since it was talked about under this theme, I kept it here.

Yep Ring of Fire is a keeper for me, for sure. In fact, it comes off kinda pinkish corally on me, which is great because not only does it perfectly match a blouse of mine, but it also really makes my eye color pop!!

Oh yeah, and I sing Johnny Cash songs all day in my head when I wear it. Really. You thought I was kiddin' didn't cha.

LOL! Kelli, I'm glad I am not the only one who goes around singing the songs that my eyeshadows are named after!
...she wore a raspberry beret, the kind you find in a second hand store...
...this is planet earth, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, calling planet earth...
Happy Dance

HELP ME!! She has me singing Raspberry Beret!!

Funny (or not) story...

WAY back when that song was popular (yeah I was about 3)...a friend's brother had a thing for me. He knew I loved Prince, and he bought me an actual beret hat that was guess what color. Yup. Raspberry.

Oh to be 3 again. Or 17.
