Sunstar is a Pure Hue, really pretty. I like to describe it as a brand new penny with pink shimmers.

That is a great description! The description in the product listing was great, but I can totally invision "brand new penny with pink shimmer". I think I shall have some. Smile

I see your color obsessions of the week...I am SOOOOO loving slowburn!! I went on a date the other night and I had on a little brown tee....and I wore slowburn on the lid up into the crease, with marigold on the brow...but THEN....I used cielo (free sample!) on the vee in the inner corner, and very lightly brushed it damp a little bit over the slowburn...but not everywhere, just where the light would hit if it fell on me naturally (kinda vertically in the center of the lid). It was GORGEOUS! I'm wearing that one again, and this time i'll try to take a pic! The blue and green in cielo was the perfect addition to make slowburn really sexy.

Kelli,
Your look with slowburn sounds awesome! A while back we were combining a similar look Heaven with Coco Bean(kudos Momof2angels!) It is one of my favorite looks. This would probably be warmer and maybe a little more punch, wish we had a picture! Take pics!

Ooooo that does sound very nice! Hmm....Yes I'll bet it would be a little warmer, and that is a good thing for me, because of my red hair...I think I may have to get those two colors, I don't have those! I have been wanting that coco bean for a while anyway. Thanks!

Heaven is an amazing color. It flashes between gold and light blue. You haven't lived till you've tried it I'm tellin' ya.
Coco bean is a little more bronze, slowburn has a pink cast, I love Cocobean wetlined(I know, I'm repeating myself). They are different enough from each other to warrant having them both!

Nadja, you look gorgeous!!

I saw the boots in the Newport News catalog....but I've already got three pairs of black PVC boots, so do I really need a fourth pair? I keep thinking I should get the red, but every time I buy something & it's not black, I end up never wearing it. Frown

I love your photo Nadja!Red looks great on you!
I like the red boots too. Unfortunatly most boots these days are too big for my calves, I wish there was an easy way to fix that. I have been wanting to make something out of cherry red vinyl, like a choker, or maybe alter a shirt and use red vinyl on it, but I can't find any cherry red PVC anywhere. Of course, Jo-anne Fabrics doesn't carry it. Maybe I'll have to make do with red lined eyes.

i'll trade you! i have the skinniest legs EVER! i have to wear thick leg warmers under my boots so they don't flop around! lol! one of my friends had the same problem and found that the best kind of boots to get were the ones without zippers. with fake lacing you can't adjust the width. they can be a pain though.

i've actually seen vinyl at fabric stores before and some will actually order it for you. you could also try upholstery shops. if that doesn't work you'd prolly have to buy it online.

LOL, wish I had that problem with boots, I can't wear them except for lace-ups because my calves are so muscular from ballet that I can't even zip up most boots!!!

Reddish Hair • Blue/Green eyes • 1YL or 00 Glissade normal skin/dry in winter • Clear and High Contrast coloring- I can wear pretty much anything... and I do! • Clarisonic/Vitamin C/Baby Quasar/Retin A/ NuFace junkie • Love Rocks! and Elemental Lustres shadows • I always wear lots of black with a bright color and match my eyeshadow to my clothing... love breaking the rules • 1970 baby... that makes me how old?

(jealous) my ankles are about 6 1/2", calves are almost 10". at least they match my 4 1/2" wrists.

i had always wanted to get into dance when i was younger. instead my mother made me get music lessons which i appreciate now since i can play the piano, cello, violin, & sitar. although when i was about 16 me and my friends took swing and jitterbug lessons. it couldn't be funner and really keeps you fit! just doesn't build leg muscles like ballet. although i suppose my ankles would look a lot smaller with wider calves. Razz

Have you tried large calf boots? I've seen them advertised but have never tried a pair.

Good heavens, Nadja! If you're not careful, you might just fade away Smile

After reading the sizes of your legs / wrists, I had to measure mine. You are tiny...but you're tall. Thin Mint TeeHeeHee
