first of all... you can get those boots on ebay and newport-news.com just came out with some adorable red and black vinyl boots.

anyway, i haven't done a look in a while so i thought i'd try one tonight. it's not at all unique & the makeup didn't show up very shiny but trust me... it was. just crappy lighting.

on eyes, lips, and cheeks i used tempted rocks!, lollypop colorwash, starlet pure lipstick, clear lip gloss, and lotsa mascara.

desert sage ~ i didn't forget... i wore another necklace just for you!

i don't think i'll ever run out of jewelry to wear with my looks.

Wow, that is a great look on you! Red eyeshadow is sometimes so difficult to pul off, but you look lovely.

I've been tempted by this theme, but my face is so ruddy sometimes I'm afraid I'd look like a cranberry.

i am always surprised that more people don't wear red eyeshadow. it doesn't have to be overdone... maybe just lining the top lashes to add a little oomph.

if you have a cooler skintone than a burgundy or wine shade would look good... like lulu eye lustre or one of the pure hues like delicate burgundy, garnet, loganberry, or zinfandel.

TOTALLY sexy, Nadja! You perfectly fit this theme. Lots of ladies are afraid of red eyeshadow (I know, I was one of them)...but it just makes your eyes look so gorgeous. And there's always a perfect red out there for every skin tone. And you can apply it dramatically or lightly. In any case, on me it really makes my eyes pop and the whites look whiter.

it didn't feel weird at all but i use to wear lipstick on my eyelids 11 years ago when red eyeshadow was impossible to find... so i got use to the feeling and eventually the lids draw in the moisture anyway. it never creased on me but i've always had dry skin. it smears if you rub it but so does mascara & the majority of lipsticks so....

you should definately wear the helterskelter tomorrow! i bet it would be breathtaking on you! i esp love wearing it as a liner when i'm wearing pewter ph.

anyway, i LOVE red/crimsons so it makes it much easier for me to wear... and the piercings help too. i'm already gawked at. they prolly don't even notice my makeup let alone if i were parading around in my birthday suit.

I tried this look a week or two ago and I looked like a moron. I used helterskelter mixed with clear gloss. It looked really stupid on me, but you look awesome! Great job
