I know I am posting early... I just wanted to get a chance to do this before a hectic week begins.

Since we are so close to Independence Day... this week's inspiration is "sparklers." Create your look around a Rocks! Glam Glitter or your fave sparkly shade.

Of course when I'm going to use my En Pointe collection tomorrow, it's one for sparkly things. I love sparkly things.

I'll do this Saturday. I already have something planned.

What a great reason to break out my glitters! I can't wait. They're so underused in my everyday life.

I really think the glitters are such great multi-taskers; you can use 'em on your face, in your hair, on your nails... the "sky's the limit!"

Nix, did you get samples of Elegie and Sylph? They are very sparkly and would work great for this challenge

I love sparklies too... most of my favorite sparkly colors are from the Holiday Blast collection (Champagne Toast, Spiked Punch, Times Square) -- I love neutrals with lots of sparkles, it makes them interesting without being too over-the-top for every day!

I do have a question about the Glam Glitters though -- has anyone tried wearing them over a regular eye primer (or cream shadow), or do they require the Eyeliner Sealant to prevent the glitter from falling off?

I haven't gotten any glam glitters yet. I would think they'd stay on fine with just the primer though...

I have sylph and elegie, but... they didn't look that sparkly when I was outside taking pictures. Tomorrow, I'll do something fun with Rocks. muahahaha.

GG- The glitters definitely have fall out as most glitter do but I find that because of the fine particles they last me all day.

I think if you put them over a cream or primer you would get a very bold,glittery look.

I also like to just wet line them over a shadow of a similar shade.

GG: I've never tried them without the sealant.

I had fun doing this.

TFSI - inner 1/4 of eyelid and rest of eye area
TFSI aqua primer - outer 3/4 of eyelid
Aromaleigh Cosmos - on eyelid
Aromaleigh Drama Queen Red - crease
Aromaleigh Sylph - to highlight and inner corners of eyes
Aromaleigh Endlessdeep - used with sealant to line upper lash line
Aromaleigh Masshysteria - used with sealant to make 3 little stars and on the tips of the upper lashes
black liner - lower water line
blue mascara

Ok, so this is mine this time:
Giselle all over lid, Pique on the outer corners/crease, odile over that on the crease, sylph as a highlight under brows, and piqué to line the lower lash line. I dabbed shakeitup glitter on top of the entire lid up to the crease. It's the first time I use one of my glitters, I really like how they don't look terrible and they're so fine, they almost pass as eyeshadows!
You can only really see the glitter without flash, that's why the closed-eye pic is darker... (that's also to show how fantastically neutral and pretty this glitter is)

Love the look MissTat... and I adore Shakeitup. It is an awesome Glam Glitter.

thanks! I think this is my favorite of the ones I have so far. I consider it a neutral glitter, which could be an oxymoron, but it's just SO wearable!!!

I love that one.

I also had work today, but I don't know how to be "neutral" or normal, and by now, the people I work with accept that. haha.

SO here's mine. I'll post more as a FOTD.

I used primer all over my lid. Then Sylph (becoming a new favourite!!) all over the primer, then limewire all over the sylph, then prettyvacant in the middle to the outside, then shadowoflove at the outside corner. In the crease is whatever colour that was close to it on the lid... I really like this one. Once again, I have to thank everyone for teaching me how to blend! hahaha.

Here's my challenge look!

I used Mystere 106 foiled on the lid with Holy Grail to darken the crease. I lined with DQ Topaz and on top of that line is where I added the Kerosene.

The blush is Glorious + Venus PEM. The lippy is Adorable liner plus a red gloss, dotted with Kerosene in the middle. Much more sparkly in person.
