Welcome to Week 14 Makeup Challenge! For this week I chose another of my favorite flowers for inspiration - the illusive Peony.

For this week I challenge all of you creative ladies to do a:

---------
- PINK -
- -
- and -
- -
- GREEN -
---------

look (nice ascii art eh?).

Use the fabulous shop by color tool - pinks can be found in multiple places - Pink, Red and Peach/Coral/Buff.

Have fun and I look forward to seeing all of your creations.

Oooh sounds like a fun combo!

Though unfortunately, at least in my browser, the threads do not use the same monospaced font as the compose window. So your ASCII art isn't quite as pretty as I'm sure it was in the compose window Frown We need some CODE tags to make some good ASCII art Wink

Yeah, yeah, yeah...it looks very much like something I've done before Smile

* green cream shadow as base from crease to lashes
* Estranged dry over base
* Pewter wet in crease, blended well
* Boilingpoint wet on lower lash line
* Glow under brow and on inner corners
* Black Out to line and tight line
* one coat mascara

* Myrtle on cheeks
* Sundaygirl on lips with clear gloss. Looks somewhat pink-ish in the pics, but is very orange in person. I like it Smile

Cin, same goes! I'm so used to seeing your black/white/purple looks in the FOTD (which are gorgeous color combos for you, BTW), but I do like seeing you with some of these other colors on. And I love the way you blended your pinks into just a little green on the outside - nice!

About the brows, isn't it funny how those close-up photos really seem to hi-lite any strays that we missed plucking? Razz

Melissa - this look is fantastic! I'll probably try copying it - at least the color combo. I still have a ways to go before I will have as much skill technique-wise as you do. I'll keep trying, though! Wink

Peacock - love the colors you chose as well as your final close-up picture.

Cin - you and pinks get along VERY well - gorgeous look.

Melissa - This isn't like your other looks - it is definitely unique - your whole face represents the Peony theme in glorious color. LOVE IT.

I love what everyone has done here. Great looks, ladies.

Peacock- This is really great. I love the pink eye with the green liner. It's almost subtle, but the liner really makes it look kicky and fun.

Cindy- Wow, this is so soft and pretty. I really like the little hint of green in the corners.

Melissa- You do dramatic looks so well, and this is no exception. Estranged is such a great color on you, and I love it paired with the Boiling Point. I think I need to get that now.

Che, I love peonies too along with the pink/green concept.
Angie, you are pure sweetness, lovely job.
Peacock, I always love matte vs sparkle, subtle vs bright.
Cindy, yours reminds me of a watercolor, I love the whisper of green at the outer corners.
Melissa, striking as always, I really need to get Estranged.
Here is my shot at the peony look. Don't have any place to be so I could get a little bold here.
I used Verdant Wisp on inner corner triangle and shadow underneath lower lashes
heartofglass used as the pink color
Moon used for highlights
Peacock gel liner used to line

Wow Melissa - that is too cool - it almost looks like the pink is floating above your lids in 3d on my monitor - LOVE it.
I still have to do my look - I didn't have any time to devote to it this week. That's what weekends are for though - I'm hoping to post some green and pink tonight.

All of you ladies have done such a wonderful job. You're very inspiring. Here's my week 14 challenge look.

Eyes:

Nude Frost creme shadow from brows to lashes
Ballet on inner 1/3 of lid
Romance on center 1/3 of lid
Boilingpoint on outer 1/3 of lid
Petunia on brow bone
Divine Intervention wet lined on outer 1/2 of upper and lower lash lines

Here's the part I had the most fun with. . .
Valentine glitter on inner 1/2 of upper and lower lash lines
Spooky glitter on outer 1/2 of upper and lower lash lines

Cheeks/lips:

Romance pure hue on cheeks
Terra Mauve liner (just to line, but not to fill in)
Romance pure hue on lips, Ballet pure hue in the center of top and bottom lip, then Valentine glitter mixed with clear gloss over everything

Thanks for looking!

Robyn
