Pair up a black matte or metallic liner shade such as:


With a soft light to mid-tone color such as:






The key for this challenge is to go for a bold liner - with or without designs, paired with a soft lid or crease.

I love the colors in the third photo, without the black dots, though. We can use any colors we want, as long as their like the ones you posted right? I don't have any of these shades, except I have Ebony on the way. Thanks!

Great idea!! I need to get back into the swing and get in on this week's challenge.

Definitely not Monday since I have to be at the dentist at 8:30am. Although nothing I show up in shocks my dentist, it'll be a struggle to get out of bed & get there on time.

Basically the idea is to pair any light to mid tone shade with a bold black liner. You can do a design, an extended line, a cat eye, leopard dots, just something a little out of the ordinary.

Oh Z, this sounds like fun. I paired high heels and mallow today with a really THICK lining of black cherry. I guess that would've worked.

By the way, I know you only used 2 AL colors, but the look on your blog today would be awesome for this. Was that your inspiration?

Okay. I'm just going to post this one... even though it's really bad. I might try it again on Tuesday. Basically, I tried to draw a heart on my right eye... then have the liner look like it's going through it... Just the heart looks horrible. I might try it again.

I used blackangel... tutu... and pavane. Blackangel had sealant used... tutu was applied try... pavane was dry when applied above my eye, but wet below... It's not very good... BUT if I try it again, maybe it'll be better.

Pictures were taken inside, with flash, which is probably part of why I think I look horrible.








Definitely will try this one again... because these definitely aren't my best. Probably Tuesday... I just... wanted to be able to be first so that next week is my challenge idea. muahahaha

I really like the heart idea!
And Pavane is really pretty, the color placement is nice!

I think if I do it again, I'll draw the heart first, so that it looks a bit better.

Pavane is a gorgeous colour. I really like it. Very soft and sparkly AND neutral. Not something I'd usually go for, but it's really pretty.

I didn't want to go too bold with the eye liner as I was planning on going out in public!

Immortal cream eye shadow as base
Fox Pure Hue all over
Spark eye shadow in crease
Rockbottom Rocks in outer V
Whitewedding Rocks inner corner and middle of lid
Blackout gel liner to line top and bottom lash line with black liquid liner on top of that
A bright blue gel liner like Oceanic to line next to the black eye liner
