wow!- y'all look great!

this pinup look is one of my faves! i often wear this look. thx for mentioning us redheads. usually people try to do betty page, and while i like betty, she's not the only one!

i was inspried by moonsugar's redheads and pic of rita. since i am a redhead i was inspired to do a rita look for today. notice in the pic she isn't wearing dark liner, but the mu is done in the pinup fashion. so i did a rita look but DANG if the screen on my camera didn't break! i'm sorry i can't post a pic! *sigh* so i'll tell you what i did for the rita look. this look is very wearable in the daytime, because it is rather "natural" for a pinup look and it is not too dramatic and the eyes are not harsh. it would also be good for light blondes or redheads who feel that dark liner is too harsh.

rita:

face- 1Y voile, followed by metamorphosis, and then rococo on cheeks.

eyes- first i tight-lined the upper lids only with the dark brown gel liner. then i put primer on upper lids, then daphne all over upper lids. foxglove in crease. then i lined the upper lid in the pinup girl fashion with slowburn. follow with a coat of wine mascara on top lashes only.

lips- infared and clear gloss

I couldn't sleep last night, so I played with makeup instead. TeeHeeHee These were taken around 2AM-ish. Eek I was going for a pin-up look inspired by this lovely lady's hairdo, but it turned out more...I dunno, Spanish rose-y?

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?
