If you have never created an account at Aromaleigh, now is definitely the time to start. Account, you ask? Doesn’t placing an order get me an account? It actually doesn't... in order to maintain an account at Aromaleigh, you have to create one, HERE.

Creating an account has benefits- and now, it has rewards! Creating an account is Free, and has absolutely no strings attached!

 We have wanted to have a program such as this for a long time now and when our site programmer developed the product available for us to offer it, I immediately put our order in.

 For those of you who already have a “My Account” with Aromaleigh, your account is still there, and it will now be working better than ever. Upgrading the software and database has taken care of many of the glitches some of you were having with wishlists, order history and other things.

 “My Account” allows you to create a username and password for use when you visit Aromaleigh. When you visit the site, log in, always… I’ll tell you why, soon!

Here are the basic benefits of creating an account at Aromaleigh.com: 

  1. Store your Name and Address so that you don’t need to fill it out each time you order. (Note: Our system does not store payment information!)

  2. Keep a history of your orders so that you can reference what you’ve previously ordered and easily reorder items. This feature only works if you are logged in when you place an order, and it only shows order history from the time you have created the account.

  3. Allow you to create wishlists of products that you would like save for reference or future purchase. When you’re ready to purchase, you can add the item to your shopping cart.

Here are the new, enhanced benefits of creating an account at Aromaleigh.com!


  1. New, more advanced database system that will work better and faster and more reliably. However, if you have any problems while using your “My Account”, please let us know so that we can let our programmers know about the issue.

  2. When you are logged in to your account and order, you’ll receive 1 Reward point for each dollar that you spend on Aromaleigh products. These points will accrue in your account and you can save them up to redeem them for special Rewards.

  3. Rewards start at 100 points and there are Reward options at 200, 300, 400 and 500 points at this time. We have some wonderful order discounts, free products and special offers for the various point levels!

  4. Along with our new “My Account” update, you may have noticed that the online reviews look a little different. Products now have a “star rating” next to them so that you can see how customers have rated that product.

  5. Your product reviews are a very valuable part of our website and are extremely helpful to all customers, but especially to new site visitors who are not familiar with the products. We welcome constructive reviews of products and want to hear about why a product did or did not work for you. When you are logged in to your “My Account” and write a review for a product, you will receive 2 reward points for each eligible review.

    What makes a review eligible? Basically, it has to describe your experience with the product, why you did or did not like it, how it worked for you, and it really helps if you describe your hair/eye/skintone information. Reviews should be relevant, on-topic, and written in a helpful, constructive manner. Reviews should be at least several sentences long and duplicate reviews of the same product with a different color inserted into template text are not eligible.

    Things that make a review not eligible are the obvious- reviews that are hateful or harassing, or that contain profanity. Things that detract from a review are reviews that are off topic, or are “rants” about a product, reviews that are actually customer service queries and should be addressed through our website and not the reviews system. Also, reviews that contain advertising or reviews for other companies products as compared to Aromaleigh are ineligible. 


  6. Exceptional reviews that are extremely well-written and informative will be rewarded with bonus points on a review-specific basis.  This does not mean that only positive reviews will be rewarded with bonus points. Our main focus of our reviews system is that it provides actual, helpful and constructive viewpoints regarding your use of a certain product or color so that your reflection on the product will be able to assist other customers in understanding the product or deciding if it is right for them. Not all products work for every customer. Sometimes a product won’t work, but the customer will get helpful hints from other customers at our forum which will make the product work well for them. We appreciate reviews that reflect the versatility of mineral makeup and also demonstrate that sometimes there is a learning curve. Don’t be afraid to express if you had a hard time with a product but later mastered it with good results, or never, if that is the case…


  7. Your account may at any time be rewarded with “Surprise Reward Points” for any reason… so if you visit your account one day and find that your point balance has increased, don’t be bewildered… there’s probably a reason for it! Reward points are our way of showing appreciation for your shopping with Aromaleigh and for rewarding loyal customers with even more extra special treatment!

If you have any questions, please let me know so that I can clarify any aspect of the program. Since so much of it is brand new, as we begin the program, we may need to work out some of the “kinks” along the way.

 I’m thrilled to have yet another way to let all of you know how much we appreciate your business at Aromaleigh. We have the weekly sales, free products with coupon, free samples with order, free sample shipping, special ship rates and lots of other incentives… but we’ve wanted to have this type of program for a long time because it gives you, our special customer, a very tangible way to see your purchases and like punch cards at brick & mortar stores, to earn rewards for your shopping.

I think this is a great idea, Miss K! I wasn't bothering to use my account when placing orders for the past few months but I certainly will now.

I was curious about when points are going to be added to the accounts. I think you said that they're only going to be retroactive to the first of October, but I placed an order on the 8th (and have since received it), and I was just wondering if it's going to take awhile to implement them. Thanks so much for the awesome rewards system, though, it's great how much you give yourself to your customers.

This upgrade actually fixed an issue I've been having -- when I went to check out it never auto-populated my address, etc. even though I had it saved in my account. Now it looks like it's working!

Can't wait to start accummulating rewards points Big Grin

Yeah, I was wondering when the points would no longer be "pending."

Hi ladies-

there's lots of info within your accounts that you can access to understand more about the rewards program-

for example, the pending points...

Log in to your account, and click on the "my Rewards" tab.

When you are there, you will see a "Reward points overview".

The following links are at the top:

Check Points Redeem Rewards
Reward Status Details

Check points is your overview.

Redeem rewards shows you what you can redeem different amounts of points for.

Reward status shows past rewards redeemed.

DETAILS.. that's where you find your info.

The detail page explains asnd also the pending points. Points can't be awarded right away. There has to be a pending period to allow for a variety of things to occur with an order.

The info you're looking for below is this:

"For each dollar of product that you purchase, you will receive one reward point. You can keep track of these points by logging in to your account. Pending points become available for use 30 days after a purchase. This wait period is needed to take cancellations, returns or other situations into account that affect points balances. "

Tanya, this could have something to do with your internet security settings. Sometimes PC users have their security settings so tight that it actually strangles their use of the site.

Check them to see- it sounds like you're logging in and some setting is logging you right back out. Sometimes security settings, private browsing, using proxy servers or trying to surf at work all affect this type of thing...

PS- everyone- please let me know if you have ANY problems at all with myaccount services. If I don't know about the problems, I can't contact the programmer and get it fixed. There have been times where we have gone weeks with myaccount not working right, but had no idea- because no one posted or wrote or told us.

We'll get things fixed right away if something is not working right- but we just have to know about it.

Lots of companies just ignore these kind of things, but we want everything to work just right and not have frustrated customers who stop using a service if it's not working.

If it's not working for you- it's because we don't know about it! So please make a quick post or email or even twitter to let me know...
