Okay, I have bounced a bit with skincare but am back to my Jan Marini mostly with some Lush biofresh masks. I LOVE Miss K's blogs on gadgets, and I purchased the Baby Quasar. I am also purchasing a Clarisonic (it comes Thursday) because of her blog.

I am not quite sure how to use everything together properly. So, if anybody is familiar with Jan Marini skincare, and uses these gadgets, some advice would be great.

In the morning my skincare routine is:

1. Jan Marini Bioglycolic cleanser
2. C-Esta Serum (this is light brown milky colored)
3. Bioclear cream
4. Transitions Age Intervention Serum
5. A touch of moisturizer. I am alternating between Transformation Cream, Age Intervention Cream, and Lush's Gorgeous.

Evening:

1. I alternate between Jan Marini C-Esta Gel Cleanser and Lush's Fresh Pharmacy
2. 3 X a week I use Factor A Lotion
3. C-Esta Serum
3. Bioclear Cream
4. Transitions Age Intervention Serum (when I don't use Factor A)
5. Moisturizer (as listed above)

Okay, so do I take off my makeup first and then re-wash with the Clarisonic? Can I use it with the bioglycolic cleanser?

Second, if I use the baby Quasar, at what step do I use it with this routine? Or do I need to use a hyaluronic acid serum and then follow with Steps 2 through 5 listed above?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi - do you use the BioGlycolic to remove your makeup normally? Any low foam cleanser works great with the Clarisonic.

Don't know about Baby Q, though - do love Jan Marini stuff for sure!

My coloring - Fair, naturally curly dark red hair, freckles (light golden), combo to oily skin, use 1W Glissade and/or Voile, although I can and have worn 1Y, 1Y/L, and 1Y/L/00 at different times. Would describe my coloring as neutral - not a classic Autumn, not really a Winter, maybe more of a Late Fall?

I don't use Bioglycolic cleanser to remove my makeup because I don't use it on my eyes. That's why I use the Fresh Pharmacy or C-Esta Cleansing Gel at night. Sounds like the only cleanser I won't use the Clarisonic with is the C-Esta Cleansing Gel because that is a high foam cleanser.

Do I take my makeup off first before using the Clarisonic?

I can't wait to get the Clarisonic!

I don't use the same products you use (I use Perricone products), but I have had a Clarisonic for a while now, and I do use it to remove my makeup with my normal cleanser. It works wonders!! So, if your cleanser is designed to remove makeup, then use it with your Clarisonic. No need for two steps to cleanse your skin! Hope you enjoy it!
