I bought the mineral makeup compact a few months ago, and have yet to fill it with minerals. This is mainly because I don't know what to fill it with. So I want to ask you ladies: What are your mineral makeup compact recipes?

Hi Anna,

I put foundation, finishing powder (parfait AND metamorphosis) and silk powder primer.

I'm having trouble with the distribution of the powder over the sponge, though. But that's alright... Perhaps a small spare brush would help to smooth it out. Big Grin

I put my foundation mix into my compact for whenever I need it.

My current mix is 1 scoop of Nocturne, 1 scoop of Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder & 3 scoops of foundation.

i did 3 parts foundation, 1 part pure cover concealer, and 1 part coquille corrective powder.


40-something, married, mother of 2, nurse
Lt brwn hair w/blonde & red hilites, brown eyes
Very fair, do not tan, rosacea on cheeks

I rarely use my compact (normally just blotting sheets are a good enough touch-up for me), but my compact mix is just my regular foundation mix plus some Porcelaine since my skin is so oily!
