Hey ladies! I thought I would start a swatch thread. I hope that's alright with Kristen... Since I see a lot of requests for arm/hand swatches floating around. So I took pics of swatches of the eyeshadows I own full sizes of and thought I'd put it up. Maybe help a few people.
Kristen's swatches are the best, in my opinion...they really are true to the colors.
As always, I recommend buy samples if you are ever unsure!!! Aromaleigh does do free shipping for sample orders!!!

ALL of the swatches I post will be foiled(applied wet) with overhead light and flash.

That's a good idea. Your swatches are nice and clear. It would be nice to see a bunch of the Sonic Rocks ES swatched since there are so many colors to chose from.

Okey dokey, here are the Bete Noire swatches... (in order left to right, top to bottom)

edited: I applied these thickly but dry...it seems that the sparklies in these shadows don't show up as well when applied wet

edited again: the sparklies show up better when applied wet in person, but show up better when applied dry when photographed

viviane, sabine, solange, ambre, aurelie, darcelle, amarante

bette, Chantal, collete, mirelle, jolie, lisette



The darcelle swatch and amarante swatch look the same, but darcelle is more olive than amarante, which is more green, but otherwise, I think they turned out pretty well..

holy crap... i must order a full size of torment IMMEDIATELY... what a lovely color.. i adore metallics! brilliant! Arat, your swatch group has inspired me to look much more closely at the elemental lustre line..

i will swatch some of the colors i have once i can find the charger for my battery cam. the swatch thread is a great idea!

I took some pictures of swatches of the colors I mixed up (plus others for comparison). I used AL's base first.

Topmost swatch (only in first pic): Chocolat, Umber, and silk powder all mixed together

Right to left, down each row:

first column on right: pure umber, umber and silk, umber and more silk
second column: Titania, chocolat, the kiss-chocolat-wildflower-bit of cornflower mixture
third column (only in second pic): bronze PH, copper PH, Elfin




And my other browns, buffs, earth tones, right to left, down the columns

first column: bronze PH, copper PH, Elfin
second column: cocoa bean, allspice
third column: torrid, crucible
forth: campanula
