I know Miss K doesn't formulate a lot of true warm lipcolors, since they don't seem to be great sellers for her, but I was wondering if there are any suggestions out there for lippie colors to try that fit under the warm-neutral umbrella. I don't usually do lipstick b/c my lips are small and full coverage color seems to make them shrink even more. I like (and have tried) all of the color cremes and many of the glosses that were recently formulated.

Maybe even a liner suggestion to wear under neutral-ish lippes to make them look warmer? Or some e/s or PH to mix in the glosses to make them warmer?

TIA! Thanx

Nougat is pretty darn warm. As is Wallflower. Actually, Lollypop looks warm to me, too -- I'm a peachy colored person. Cognac is supposed to be neutral, but it's my Holy Grail neutral -- not too cool and not too peach.

Limbo EL lipbalm is also warm. It's my fave daily lippie. Well, that's actually a tough choice now that I have wallflower... I love them both.

Many of the lipstick colors are warm, but they are OOS right now. Maybe you would like them with a bit of clear or pale shimmering gloss dabbed over them in the middle of the lip to negate that shrinking lip effect you were talking about. Sheen is warm and shimmery, so it probably wouldn't give you that problem. I bet Enamor gloss would look great on you. Have you tried it? Also wait for girl_geek to come along...I know she prefers warm colors and will probably have some great suggestions for you. Hennagirl's ideas were really good too, I agree with everything she suggested.

Coloring: 1.5 level skin with yellow undertones, hazel eyes, medium golden/reddish brown hair color. Surprisingly, I look best in neutral and cool-toned makeup. Love greys and pinks. Current Favorites: Magnetism gel liner, Rocks! Rouge in Breathless, Pinafore Color Cream, Adelaide EDT, Delicate Vanilla Bean Lipbalm, Ondberry and Maylily Spring Solstice!

I have cognac and honey and they are both warm on my skin, especially with a warm liner.

I love warm lippies too. Limbo is very nice with a warm liner and you can barely dab it on for an ultra pale look.

I find fox pure hue mixed with clear gloss or lip balm is an awesome neutral warm.

I'd love if Kristen made a beautiful light beige nude lippie and a sparkly champagne colored gloss! But I don't know if they would be popular enought to do.

Enthrall is a wonderful warm gloss, it can be applied very lightly (over balm helps to sheer it out if you want it to be lighter). On me it is like a YLBB when I do it this way, I am a level 2 on the warm side.

Hope that helps, and you're not alone w/ warm lippies. Oh, Wallflower!!! It is a lovely peach you can layer it up or apply over liner to make it more intense or just apply it lightly for a fresh peachy shimmer. I love the versatility of all the color creams that way.

Hth!

in-stock lipsticks like saffron & nougat would work well. i'd say go for dahlia but i'm not sure if you like a red lippie.

as far as glosses go... i agree with moonsugar ~ enthrall is a lovely warm shade. enamor is really pretty too.

color cremes ~ lollypop, wallflower, & limbo (although smitten is more neutral in my opinion and could easily work with your skintone).

I would except I almost never wear lipsticks so I don't know what AL colors would look good Wink

I do try the lipstick samples I get free with orders ... the only one I've really liked is Infared, it is a perfect red color for me! (Not too cool but not too orangey-red either.) Sheen has an excellent MLBB color but has way too much shimmer/shine for my taste. If you could make a lipstick that was the same color as Sheen with less shine, it would be my perfect MLBB Smile

Right now I wear Wallflower and Bella a lot. (Bella looks like it would be too brownish in the container, but on my lips it warms up to a lovely rosy pink shade! Looks much better on me than the cooler pinks like Zen). Lollypop is my replacement for the out-of-stock Infared and is also a great red for my skintone (slightly on the warm side but not orangey). Charm is also a good MLBB color for me. Those four shades are probably the most flattering AL colors I've tried so far...

I have to put in a plug for my favorite: Zest gloss! It is a warm neutral with copper and caramel shades. It has the same depth of color as my natural lip shade, but gives me a glowy, natural lip. My mouth is small, so dark colors aren't flattering on me, either-but I LOVE zest.

I'm a warm lippie gal and I use Touch liner under just about everything - even Belladonna. It does seem to warm up anything I put on top of it.

A champagne gloss would be divine - and Diva again!

2YL 2P 50/50 G/V lightly spritzed + LD. Short 'n sassy dark auburn hair, dark brown eyes, freckles.

Life is short. Make it ROCK.

Now, on me, Bella is a nice cool nude. Smile I think the lesson here is to sample, sample, sample- a lot of the lip glosses can go either way, especially because in many cases they're sheer enough to let your natural color through.

custom mix of: voile/glissade 1YL-2YL plus a bit of Lilas Coquille. Green eyes, Dark purple/brown/black hair, freckles. Current faves: Bella, Sinisterrouge, and Luminary!

Yeah, I do miss Diva. I didn't find that color until the old glosses were going out of stock. That one and Perks.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that one day a color similar to either of them will reappear, here, but until then, I work with what's available.

I do enjoy Lollypop, Wallflower, Enthrall and Zest, as may of you suggested, but still am working towards finding something that is more coppery and less pinky-rosey.

Thanks again for all the advice!

Personally I've found that Impatiens and even Victoriana looks really great on me, and neutral. I wear a 3W foundation, I'm told my skin is olive-y, brunette, brown eyes, that sort of thing. I also have relatively full lips so it's difficult for me to wear really bold lipstick without looking REALLY made up. The Victoriana is a little more purple and shimmery, but it's neat for something different.
Also, I'm not always crazy about "true" warm shades as they can make your teeth look yellowish, and these two colors seem to have just enough of the "neutral" in them to avoid this problem.
Hope that helps!

Oh, and I forgot to add that now since most of the lipstick isn't in stock, I use a clear lip balm (usually soothing flowers or sugar plum fairy, not that it affects the color) and put on some Rocks in "brownsugar" for a little bit of color. I've also used Adobe (I believe it's a pure hue) when all I really wanted was the shimmer.
