I have a friend who has recently started wearing makeup. Only issue is, she has sensitive skin! So, I'm thinking of getting her a few samples of AL and offering them to her. I'm not sure what shade in AL she would be, so if people have any tips, that would be wonderful! She's African American, and has medium colored skin, so I'd think a 4-5 would be where her skin tone is. I do think she has cooler toned skin, since she looks amazing in blue and purples, but bad in bright orange.

I have sensitive skin and found that I really love the Glissade formula, so I'd definitely point her at that.

Yeah, I'd get samples of 4N, 4C, and 4L, also 5N, 5C, and 5L and then mix to her liking. Yay on getting a convert Smile.

I too, have sensitive skin and I just love Glissade. Voile tended to dry me out in the fall/winter, but Glissade works for me year-round, even in the heat! I have oily skin.


Foundation: 2y voile with a tiny amount of 2yl sometimes. (Can also wear 2W)
Lip Favs: Lollipop, Wallflower, Pinafore, Limbo, Zest
Blush Favs: Rococco, Tawny, Epitome
Eye Favs: Damask, Lola, Fiona, Ariel, Longing, Fairy, Seaglass, Shell, Willow, Marigold, Lisianthus & more to come!
