I'm not new to Aromaleigh, but new to the foundations. I want to try the Glissade formula, but need help picking shades. Can anyone tell me the Glissade equivalent of these Lumiere shades:

Lumiere Flawless & Cashmere formulas: Cool Light Medium (in winter) and Beige Medium (in summer). TIA!

Hi, welcome to Aromaleigh!

I haven't tried Lumiere, but here are some ideas in case you don't get any specific answers from someone who has:

Aromaleigh's Level 1 shades are lighter than most other brand's lightest shades, so if you've been wearing "Light Medium" and "Medium" shades in other brands, consider starting with samples in Level 2 and 3 in Aromaleigh.

Aromaleigh has a wide selection of undertones, so P, PL, C, and CL may all be a good match for a "cool" foundation in another brand. To match a "beige" foundation, consider Linen (L) which is straight beige, along with any of the Linen blends (e.g. CL, WL, etc.). Also, Y and YL are surprisingly cool and cool/neutral shades that work well for many gals -- they're not as warm as many other brands' "warm" shades Smile

Also, if you're not sure what undertones you are, start with a sample of Linen in whatever level you think is closest to your skin. If L looks too yellow on you, you have cool undertones and should try P, PL, C, and CL. If L looks too pink on you, try W, WL, Y, and YL. If L is close but looks ashy, grey, or just "off", try N.

Finally, to save a little money, you can make your own Linen blends. E.g. 2YL is simply a 50/50 mix of 2Y and 2L.

And of course, don't forget to check your foundation in both indoor and outdoor light (sunlight)!

Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions!
