Hi everyone!!! I am new here and looking for a nice neutral lipstick. I do have pigmented lips and want something "my color but better." I have warm/neutral coloring. Any suggestions? Also what e/s would you start out with? I play up my eyes and everything else is mostly neutral or with a little color. Eyes are blue/hazel with deep set in eyes (thanks mom.) Something that I can "play with". Thanks!!!!!

If you have some pigmentation and you are looking for a MLBB type shade, I would recommend trying samples. I would probably check out:

Coquette - a warm neutral fawn buff peach with mauve/beige
Gossamer - a warm caramel shade with pinkish copper tones (J Lo lips)
Nuance - warmish neutral brown rose copper

Though I do love Sweet and I think probably anyone could wear it.

For playing up your eyes you could go dramatic with some Bete Noire colors:
Aurelie, Colette, Sabine, Darcelle or Bette

Hi and welcome!

I want to second Coquette. It's a smooth neutral that seems to bring out "a little of everything." Very pretty and flattering.

As for eyes, don't overlook the limited edition sets that are available right now. There are some beautiful shades in the Les Papillons collection that are just plain fun. I can personally recommend Glowing Luna, Zephyr's Breeze, and Air and Light as some great shades.
