Well, I ordered a sample of 2N glissade. I tried it on my arm and it blended in flawlessly, with no yellow standing out like when I use 2W or 2YL, though I can totally wear those. I used it on my face this morning and it also seemed to blend in SO well with my skin. Sometimes I wear 2W. I don't have natural pink in my skin, but I guess the pink in 2N is so small, that it doesn't matter. It's the peach that shows up. So, I think I'm a mixture of a warm and a neutral. I can wear either gold or silver jewelry. I tan to a light golden/peachy color & I am very fair when I stay out of the sun. I can wear so many colors well: turquoise, cream, black, hot pink, olive green, navy blue, light yellow, apple green, periwinkle, blue-red, peachy-orange, white, bright purple, royal blue, brown. I have all kinds of colors in my closet. I'd say that the very light pastels are too light for me. Does this sound like a 2N to you gals? I can wear 2W really well and 2YL and even 2Y, but sometimes I have to switch up with 2Y and 2YL, depending on the time of year. Sometimes it makes me look blah. LOL.

Foundation: 2y voile with a tiny amount of 2yl sometimes. (Can also wear 2W)
Lip Favs: Lollipop, Wallflower, Pinafore, Limbo, Zest
Blush Favs: Rococco, Tawny, Epitome
Eye Favs: Damask, Lola, Fiona, Ariel, Longing, Fairy, Seaglass, Shell, Willow, Marigold, Lisianthus & more to come!

Your skintone sounds like mine - golden/peachy when tanned, pale when I stay out of sun; love all shades of blue and most greens and purples; can wear black or brown, gold or silver; white or cream; very light colors tend wash me out, ... I have found that my best Aromaleigh match is 2N with a little 3N mixed in when I am a bit darker. This is just my personal experience and I am by no means a color expert like some of the ladies here. I hope this helps a little. Smile

Hi Kittycat: Honestly, it doesn't matter if you "sound" like a 2N. Does it look good when you look in the mirror? Does it blend in well with your skin? Do you feel pretty wearing it? If you answer "yes" to those questions, that's all that matters. Smile

Some ladies can successfully wear multiple shades!! Seasonal tweaks are needed by many women, so it sounds like you've got all your bases covered.

I agree with Robyn and Cin -- just wear whatever foundation looks good on you, and you may be able to wear multiple foundations! And of course you may need to wear different colors at different times of the year as Cin mentioned. So don't worry about the name too much Smile

I believe the N shades can work for neutral skintones and peachy, warm Spring skintones (FoxFyre is a good example -- she wears N but is a classic Spring!) It looks like a lot of your favorite colors are either Spring or Winter colors, with a few Summer and Autumn colors tossed in too, so it's certainly possible you could be fairly neutral.

Tanning, wow, I haven't had a tan since high school and even then I was only able to get about 1/2 shade darker without burning! I don't even remember what my tanned undertones looked like, I just match my foundation to whatever my skintone is now!

Yes, I know what you gals are saying. I will try it again and see how I like it. I will ask my mom because after a while, I can't tell anymore and I need an outsider to give me an honest opinion. Thanks!
