I posted this on the Aromaleigh Anonymous thread, but I want to share this tip again— in case you missed it.

Here's my latest favorite mineral make-up tool:

It's one of those green "splash sticks" that they have at the counter at Starbucks. It has one round end and a "siren" at the other.

I use it to scoop minerals out of the sample baggies to put in my mixing palette. I can wipe it between colors and wash it to disinfect. It picks up just enough minerals and saves on the Q-Tips. I bet the round flat tip may work with lip gloss making, but I have not tried it... yet.

So the next time you mosey by the 'Bucks, "scoop" one of these up. It's a fantastic tool!

Thanks Sparklekitty! The palette is just a cheap-o watercolor paint palette that I purchased at an art supply store for under $2. Fairly easy to clean, too. (the pigments do stain this type of plastic though)

I use the big round areas for foundation, finishing powder and blush. The squares I use for shadows and liners. (as shown) I squirt the eye sealant or Visine for wet lining in the small circles (and sometimes put shadow there, too... depending on how the mood strikes)

Totally makes mixing a breeze...

Haha, thanks for the info! I will pick one up the next time I am at "bucks". And that mixing pallete is a great idea. Right now I mix, swirl/tap, wherever I find space which leaves me with bits of shadow and foundation everywhere!
