Hi girls!

I'm going straight to the point with this one. Lately I've noticed my skin is getting a bit on the dry side ( I'm not a teenager anymore! Frown ) particularly in the forehead-nose area and sometimes on the cheeks. I had been using the BeautiControl cleanser/moisturiser/etc, but they leave my face feeling super tight so I stopped. I never wear foundation, just tinted moisturizer by Benefit (YouRebel Lite).I never ever break out either, except for the occasional time-of-the-month pimple. Lately I haven't even been using face powder because everything just feels too dry!

I need to get a new moisturizer, and maybe even a cleanser, and I want recommendations for a good not-so-expensive skincare regimen for dry/combo skin. Also if it has good SPF, even better, because I live in a very sunny island Cool
Any ideas?

very much appreciate your help!

I use Garnier Nutritionist Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28 - $9.99 from Amazon.com
Amazon Link

I have dry skin and this works really well for me.
I also use a vitamin C serum gel on my face before I put this on. I use a mix of vitamin C and vitamin E products at night before I go to bed.

I switched to this moisturizer after using Oil of Olay's Sensitive skin formula for 10 years because I liked this better!

Hope this helps!

I just started using Oil of Olay Foaming Face Wash for sensitive skin. Keep in mind, I don't have "sensitive" skin but I like that products made for sensitive skin are gentle and usually free of unnecessary ingredients. I was surprised at how soft my skin was after using a foaming face wash. I feel so lucky to have found something inexpensive that makes my skin look/feel so good.

Here's the product description:

Olay created Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash for the special needs of sensitive skin. It gently cleans, refreshes and cares for your skin, helping you maintain a fresh youthful appearance. Rich foamy lather. 100% soap free. 100% oil free. Allergy and dermatologist tested.

Olay also has several SPF moisturizers (even ones with a touch of foundation). I personally use the Target brand (about $13) of REGENERIST UV DEFENSE REGENERATING LOTION SPF 15. When I want a moisturizer without sunscreen in it, I use the Vitamin C creme that AL sells. Leaves my skin velvety soft. I use it every night before I go to bed. Love it!

I have an aloe vera based organic natural moisturizer that his hand made from scratch. But I also like to use jojoba oil or grapeseed oil as a moisturizer. I also use it in my hair, since it's color treated & it does wonders to smooth and silk my hair without making it oily. The hair absorbs the oil beautifully. This beats anything store bought and it works wonderfully and better than anything synthetic I've ever used. It's just the old fashioned method.

Foundation: 2y voile with a tiny amount of 2yl sometimes. (Can also wear 2W)
Lip Favs: Lollipop, Wallflower, Pinafore, Limbo, Zest
Blush Favs: Rococco, Tawny, Epitome
Eye Favs: Damask, Lola, Fiona, Ariel, Longing, Fairy, Seaglass, Shell, Willow, Marigold, Lisianthus & more to come!
