I finally got a Rock Glam glitter to stick! This is a big deal for me! Last year I wanted a glittery product by another cosmetic brand, but didn't buy it because I was afraid of fallout. Then, yesterday, while surfing the net, I found something posted on another forum, about a Youtube video, where the other brand glitter was applied and made to stay on. I watched the YouTube video and was inspired to try my own version of mixing to see what would happen. So I dumped some Endlessdeep in it's lid, and then got my eye moisturizer out, after I applied Aromaleigh Eye primer to my eye, and mixed the moisturizer with some glitter. Woohoo! The moisturizer worked, and it didn't change the texture of the glitter. I didn't do a pic, because I am going to wait and do one, when I get my Bete Noire Femme Glitter. There is a purple one I want to try. So I ordered those samples last nite, and we will see what happens. I will post a pic, then. I wanted to share this tip, in case it might help someone else. I have been unable use the sealant because it makes my eyelids burn.

Whoa! That's really helpful to me.

Just moisturizer huh? Sounds easy.

I'm totally picking up the Bete Noire glitters too, and I'll be sure to try that method.

The girl in the YouTube video was using a name brand department store Sunblock moisturizer, but since I didn't wanna drive to the department store today, I tried eye moisturizer instead.

Nice!

Well I have that. I'll give it a try tomorrow and let you know how it worked on my oily lids. Thanks again for the tip!

Thank you for sharing that tip. I'd be afraid to use a sun block/moisturizer because I can't forget how I applied sun block once and it got into my eyes and my eyes burned and teared (until no more eye makeup)

Thanks for the great tip! I've been looking for a good way to get my glitters to stick, so I'll definitely try out my moisturizer!

I love my makeup bold, and while I think neutrals look good on others, I hate them on myself.

I tried it!

I used my eye moisturizer, which is just some drugstore stuff - nothing special. I just rubbed a little onto my finger, dipped it in the glitter and tried spreading them across my eye to see what would happen. A few glitters fell onto my cheeks, but a lot stayed on my eye.

Then I tried to layer the glitter on top of an eyeshadow... I used Rocks Fanclub. Unfortunately, the moisturizer smudged up Fanclub something awful. Everything turned goopy!

Next time, I'm going to use a small, stiff brush to apply the glitter and maybe even water down the moisturizer.
