I am trying to decide on a color for my coupon for my order I am putting together. I am thinking about Avalon or maybe moonagedaydream, does anyone have swatches for these? I am also debating about getting a pink that could work as a blush. I am pretty fair, I wear glissade 1CL, medium brown hair, blue/green eyes. Any recommendations would be much appreciated...

I just did a swatch of moonagedaydreaam, here. Sorry, I can't help you with Avalon.

As for a blush, have you tried the rocks! sonic rouge? You only need a tiny bit of it. Breathless gives a sweet, cheery pink look. A pink blush I frequently wear is pixie. It's a cool/neutral tone & I always grab for it when I can't decide on a blush to wear.

Did you look at the pink Shop By Color Page? (Keep in mind some of the newer collections are not on these pages yet.) I haven't tried any of these shadows as blushes, but here are some that look like they may work for a fair skintone:

Baby Frost
Edie Lustre
Tea Rose Pure Hue
Cupid Matte (if it's not too light)
Rosy Cheeks Eye Plush

If any of them are too bright, you can apply it with a fiber optic brush and/or dust a little foundation over it. On my pale, warm skin, I prefer using a sheer wash of a bright color using these techniques. I don't wear pink blushes often but I do like using Hibiscus Pure Hue as a blush like this!

Those are wonderful eyeshadow as blush suggestions. The only one I would say no to is Cupid matte. I own it, and it is almost white! Are you looking for eyeshadows to use as blushes then? The Pure hues are great for that.

If you are looking for a blush blush, then I also would recommend Breathless. It didn't work on me, but I am a warm tone. The rocks blushes look quite natural actually if applied very lightly and blended well. They look like a light cheek stain since they are matte but without talc, just pigment.

I have Avalon. It's kind of a greenish gray with LOTS of silver sparkle...I'll see if I can get a good pic of it.

I take it back. Although it appears to have a greenish tint in the jar, when you apply it over primer it just goes on gray with the silver sparkles.

If you can see, there are two blobs of shadow there. The one on the left is applied dry, and the one on the right is applied on top of primer. If you want the gray to show up, I do suggest using primer or maybe attempting to foil it. I've never foiled it myself, so don't know. Applying it dry, the gray doesn't show up, but the silver sparkles definitely do. They do need the primer to stick to, though, otherwise you'll get some fallout.

Hope that helps!

Thank you all so much! I decided to go with tea rose pure hue as my freebie. it should be a good gentle blush, and if not I can always use it to lure another friend into the aromaleigh fold...
