I placed my first order last Thursday night, and received it yesterday (Monday) afternoon. I think I actually squealed with delight when my mother handed it to me.

(We're all one big happy family. 2 grandparents, me, 2 elementary aged kids - in 822sq ft O_O)

So, anyway. I had ordered the Sonic Rocks kit -

Fanclub

Boilingpoint

stillinhollywood

and I took advantage of my first coupon and also recieved -

I am not at all unhappy. Dominion is DEFINITELY dark, but will be so much fun to use for going out. I've been wearing fanclub and boiling point together (fc on lid, bp in crease) and stillinhollywood will used for the wedding this weekend. I'll probably have to play with the other colors to see what pops. The dress is black sleeveless, almost grecian style - so there are MANY ways to go.

I am IN LOVE FOREVERANDEVER with:
Notorious Nourishing Liptint and Cherrybomb rouge, and the Black Cherry gel liner.

I was worried the liner would be difficult, as I've always been a pencil girl (liquid is too messy) but it's been the easiest to apply, and the most flattering.

My free samples were:
Satin Laces from the Gothic Lolita collection (GL will be on my next order, but it will be the pinks ^_~)

and Rapture Glam Glitter from Sonic Rocks

I ordered a FS of Sugarplum Fairy balm, and received a sample of the Minty Cocoa Chip. I'm not a huge fan of the flavor, it's a bit clove-tasting, but completely forgivable as it was the softest, lovliest feeling on my lips. Ever. lol.

I had taken some pics, but the lighting was foul an I had a pretty wonky look on my face. I'll post pics later, especially after I have more time to play.

If anyone has any suggestions of faces with the colors I ordered, I'd certainly be open to them. The wedding is this weekend, and I'm pretty trial and error.

Vegas at the end of this June - I'm carting my whole makeup kit - including samples. Plenty of places call for some purple glitter.

Fanclub, Boiling Point, and StillinHollywood are three of my favorite Rocks shades, and I'll use them in various combinations together. And sometimes with the Black Cherry liner, but my go to is Black Out.

Yes, the entire Rocks line totally rocks. Anyone who's hesitant, get samples and apply using fiber optic brushes. You'll be happy you did.

I loove boiling point!I am also a huge fan of Rocks!.I stopped wearing them for a while with all of the new LE's coming out but I just ordered some new colours during the last sale. I also love the different shades of black that have different colours flashing through them. They are worth a sampling.

Excellent choices! Stillinhollywood is one of my favorite purples, I've said it before, but it's really an amazing color that looks great on everyone! And I used to be scared of dark liners but I have been wearing Black Cherry a lot lately!

Notorious is one of my favorite lippies ever, yet for some reason cherrybomb turns bright pink on me! Confused It's the only AL blush that doesn't stay true to color on me ... so I wear Notorious with Corset (GL) instead and it looks great Smile

I was torn between Rococo and Cherrybomb, and I still am.

I love the truer red of Cherrybomb, but I really really love the peachy tone of Rococo. The plan is to get Corset as a sample next.

I really like how Black Cherry works as a replacement to my brown liner, I'm going to go for BlackOut when I can work it into the budget.

Someday, maybe branch off into other colors, but that's another day. I'm playing it safe for now, lol.

Fanclub is one of my favorite pinks! Glad you like it Smile Boilingpoint will look great with it. Black Cherry is my second favorite gel liner, with Black Out being my first. It's gorgeous and I bet it totally flatters you.

I've looked at the ROCKS! blushes, but they look kind of scary to me. They look so intense! I'd be afraid of looking like a clown. I'd love to see people wearing them though. Maybe there is a special technique I don't know about?

Apply them with a fiber optic brush and a light hand, under your foundation. They look like a very natural flush of color!

Just peek through the galleries & FOTD posts, lots of ladies wear them.

Oh, you got some awesoem colors to play with! I love the Rocks line too - they aren't as scary as they look in the baggie most of the time.

Anyway, no suggestions for looks as I'm still newbie myself, but I just got back from Vegas and took a ton of my AL with me. Def break out the glitter! It was fun to do some more daring looks that I wouldn't usually do at home. For some reason you feel a little more willing to test drive the brighter stuff away from home - adn where better than Vegas! Big Grin
