I am looking for a true green green. I mean a crayola crayon green! I have tried greens from other companies and most medium shades of green are either too "mossy" or too "minty and cool." I'm looking for something less yellow than a chartreuse but still relatively warm/neutral. NO COOL GREENS.

I was looking at the Rocks! page and honestly I have no idea which green will come close. I'm thinking I should give the above mentioned greens a shot. The thing is... I feel like a green-o-holic and just can't justify buying all three even as samples!

Help?
Swatches?
What do you think?

I have venom and googoomuck. Venom is what I'd call a green-green. Googoomuck is more yellow-green. I like googoomuck more though b.c. it has a very smooth texture when applied. I have to be careful of sparkle fall-out with venom. Here is a pic of me wearing googoomuck...

Since lazysod appears bluer than venom online, I would assume that is more of a cool green. But others will have to respond about that color.

I love green eyeshadow too! It is definitely one of my "go-to" colours and probably one I have the most of.

I think you should try them all out b/c they will show up differently on everyone.Just get samples now and wait until Rocks! goes on sale again for a f/s.

I only have Venom and I would describe it as a bright apple green -- pretty neutral but maybe just a hair on the warm/yellow side (but NOT really yellowy like chartreuse or olive). It's also very bright, at least for me Smile Severina Lustre is also a very bright green, mostly neutral but maybe just a hair on the cool side. Those are the only bright greens I have!

A good way to get an idea of what colors may look like on is to search the FOTD forum for the name of the color you're interested. Here's some search results for Venom as an example:

As you can see, the same color can look quite different on different skintones, combined with different eyeshadows, with different cameras / flash settings / computer monitors, etc. so I still recommend sampling any color that you're considering since you never know exactly how it will look on you Smile

I would look at Pure Hues Grass, which looks to me very much like a green green. I think Googoomuck or Lazysot look like either one could work for what you want, too.

Crayola crayon green, eh? I think the closest green I have with no earthy tone to it and no yellow is Arbor, but I love the vivid greens like Cricket and Venom! Good luck!--Tanya

On my hunt for a green, green I got arbor and love it. It may be a very slight tad on the cool side. It looks lighter on me than the pix, almost crayola like (with shimmer) and smoothes on wonderfully. Venom on Momof2angels looks exactly like the crayola green I just used on a paper. I also love divine intervention and darcelle, but they have more complexity than you may be looking for.
