Hello-
Does anyone know if they offer samples for the skin care? I have VERY sensitive skin and MUST sample things first! Also, has anyone used the sponge at all? How do you use it? Thank you.

No, unfortunately the only skincare item you can get a sample of is Nocturne (and it is definitely worth sampling). My skin is really reactive, and its hard to find products that I can actually use. I really like being able to sample before I commit to full sizes, too, but I did take a chance on the glycolic acid serum, and haven't had any problems with it. I've never used any of the vitamin c products.

The flocked sponge is great. I have two, one I use for Nocturne and the other for my foundation. I use the SSTK as well, but the sponge gives a bit heavier coverage without making your makeup look cakey. Sometimes I need the heavier coverage (thank you, acne). I just dab the sponge into my minerals, pat them onto my face, and then use the sponge to smooth it out. Its really soft, too. If someone made the flocked sponge in a giant size I'd take it to bed to cuddle. :P

I think the flocked sponge is a must have. I use mine to cover pores in the t-zone, or for heavier coverage like angiepangie says. It's also great for smoothing foundation in the inner groove between the eye and nose, and to "finish" an application of the Ultra Finishing powder. I also use one to apply the Nocturne.

custom mix of: voile/glissade 1YL-2YL plus a bit of Lilas Coquille. Green eyes, Dark purple/brown/black hair, freckles. Current faves: Bella, Sinisterrouge, and Luminary!

Here is Miss K's post about discontinuing skin care samples:http://aromaleighaficionadas.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tp...531036973#9531036973

I use or have used the Vitamin C serum, Glycolic Acid and Nocturne. The Vitamin C serum gives me no adverse reaction, the Glycolic Acid tingles a bit when I first apply it (it must be working) but nothing negative to report here either. The Nocturne tingles a bit upon application as well, but only on places where I have a healing blemish, which is rare. I have never had a rash, redness, itching, watery eyes, etc. from using any of these products. I just have softer and smoother textured skin now. I recommend trying a sample of Nocturne. You get a very generous amount in the sample so you'll know if it's right for you by the time you're finished with it (probably even sooner). HTH.

Edited to add: Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I love the flocked sponge. I use it every single day. I apply my mineral foundation with a kabuki brush and then pat the flocked sponge over the areas with visible pores. It blends the foundation into the pores so they are not as visible. Sometimes I even use the flocked sponge by itself if I want quick "one coat" coverage.

my skin is pretty sensitive and i haven't had a single problem with any of the skin care products. there are a select few that i personally know of that had a bit of trouble with the vit c mist... not sure if any of the other products bothered them however. i also notice a bit of tingling with the glycolic acid serum and the vit c mask when first applied but that's it.

i love the flocked sponge as well. works wonderfully!
